I needed a footrest to put my foot on when shaving my legs in a standing shower (balancing on one leg didn't work for me). It's small enough to fit in my shower and strong enough to balance on. And it's safe for water.

Do not buy for young children. My little son passed out on the first try. He'd also sustained a nasty bruise and scratch from cornering. Instead we can use it as a small stool or gaming table. If you're good at modifying things, you can add supports to the outside of the legs. If you don't have time for that, I suggest saving your money for something with a nice wide base and non-slip top.

I was looking for a small stool to put in the shower to put my foot on when I shaved my legs - I was a little nervous about buying this but it works GREAT . Installation was very easy and took me less than 10 minutes. The stool is the perfect size and I love that it has a little shelf to keep my razor and shaving cream on. I don't hold the stool directly under the faucet - I keep it pushed back so it doesn't get wet. Everything seems to be going very well so far.

I didn't look at the dimensions (bad!) so it was smaller than I thought it would be, but it's still great. It only took me a few minutes to assemble and it fits perfectly in my shower. 2 screw holes did not match. I had to use a 7/32 bit to re-drill the leg hole. I have attached photos. The holes in the bottom shelf are uneven so the shelf extends past the leg on one side and fits snugly to the adjacent corner. I bought 2 of them. I ordered a second one after the first one looked good. A number of reviewers had issues with the fit and drilling. My first chair was good, but the second chair had problems. Nothing could be further from my experience.
