High Quality: Multitester

Bought to use with my 12V DC power supply. Looks very high quality, wires and insulation are very flexible. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I'll write later

Good adapter for my workbench

What can I say? Banana on one end, sticky on the other. The clips are durable and comfortable. No more soft and swiveling PVC coated alligator clips!

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Ideal for power supplies.

I bought these to get some extra power out of my PSU and they are great. Very well made and able to handle at least 300w of power. In my configuration it uses a maximum of 30 V and 10 amps without any problems.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Reliability

Very hard plastic insulation

The insulation at the end of the clip is plastic, not rubber. Therefore, at around 65F, it is so hard that it is almost impossible to open. I had to cut some of them off to make them work. But now they open normally. The wires are very flexible. I will keep them.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Ideal for lab testing

I should have bought these units years ago. They fit snugly and the clips are tight enough to hold most wires. The insulation is quite thick and looks a little cheap, but the wire is thick enough (14 ga?) for my application (2-10 amps at 14v). I had no problems and would buy it again.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Expandable

Actually most likely a 14ga cable and not horrible cheap junk that shocks!

As most people know almost all the wires purchased from Revain are made up of about 5 strands of copper metal surrounded by a lot of cheap insulation to make it look thicker. Copper is expensive, but rubber plastic waste isn't, so that's not a problem for most Chinese rotten-egg growers. These wires, on the other hand, are actually manufactured to reasonable standards and have a declared current carrying capacity. I had to cut the wire to check it because I couldn't believe I actually got what…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor issues
