These things are getting harder and harder to find. They are great for those tight spaces. We have been using them in our shop and in the field for many years. As long as you don't overload them, they do what they have to do.
I used a sheet metal grinder to clean (deburr) the edges of the plasma cut holes. The mill did exactly what I needed. Wobbly/unsteadily holds the sandpaper in place. I suspect that a washer was forgotten during assembly. I was able to find a puck-like attachment to secure the yellow lever. Otherwise great product for the price.
I do not recommend this product. The plate that supports the sanding belt is defective. By their very nature, they are considered wearing parts, but there is no clear replacement in the manual or on the internet. After two uses, my bottom plate was halfway worn and there was a significant mess of worn particles. You get what you pay for. The expensive but quality Milwaukee I replaced mine with has replacement blades that come in packs of 10. If they chose a better, more durable material andβ¦
