It's a good size and it would be great if it stayed closed. Maybe someone buying can set this up, but I have a feeling that by the time you're buying something it should already be doing what's expected upon closing. I will not buy for gifts.

Shiny but uncoated top and very sharp. It would be nice to cover it with an acrylic coating. Since it's sharp at the top, I have a hard time holding it.

It's cute but the mirror is very small and I can hardly tell the normal side from the enlarged side. Still perfect for a small purse and better than nothing. This is the kind of mirror that's good for inconspicuously inspecting or applying lipstick. I keep it next to my computer for online meetings. Nice. Small. Gift.

This can is so small and so easy to open. There are many other nice ones, but if you can't open them easily, they're no use to me. This can has a little button that you push and it opens. It doesn't have a backlight, but the simpler the better for me. I'm sure if you're looking for a lighted mirror try to find one that you don't have to struggle with when you have to use it. Especially if, like me, you have manicured nails. The top of the tin has a very intricate finish that won't fall apart…

I used this to complement my bridesmaids and bridesmaid boxes. I wanted rose gold. I ended up ordering one too. It has a little quote on the back which I think is very cute.

I bought this for myself but it will make a wonderful gift. I like the message on the back. It's a little heavy and I feel I have to be careful with it. I am very happy with this purchase!
