This can is so small and so easy to open. There are many other nice ones, but if you can't open them easily, they're no use to me. This can has a little button that you push and it opens. It doesn't have a backlight, but the simpler the better for me. I'm sure if you're looking for a lighted mirror try to find one that you don't have to struggle with when you have to use it. Especially if, like me, you have manicured nails. The top of the tin has a very intricate finish that won't fall apart, and it's small enough not to take up too much space in your handbag. For me it is a keeper!
