I suspect bad plastic or something, the latch on this item broke after a day. It wasn't even used aggressively or anything like that. pull out.

The latch hinge broke after a few days of use. doesn't look very "heavy". The box is designed for heavy applications. Non-fixing part.

I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before purchasing. It's made out of cheap, flimsy plastic. The lid broke on first use.

The order arrived on time which is a plus as I needed it immediately. I'd like to use the file box, but the main feature I was interested in doesn't work. Clear cover for pen/paperclip/holder was not included. Looked in and thought it should be buckled. no just not there.
