A little big but works fine

Reliable performer that is easy to hook up to the system. The main disadvantage is its size. You should have a plan on where to hide it since it's almost half the size of a remote start alarm. they still don't have the key.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Exchanges available

Works perfectly! Best in Anti-Theft

Works like a charm, easy to set up and use. (Connect the plus to 12V plus and the black to ground) Put the spare key in the box and the copper ring will bypass your lock cylinder. I used a cable tie to secure it there. I highly recommend! The delivery was super fast too! I ordered it around 6pm, got home from work, the next day it was in my mailbox.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not trendy

Easy to install.

Easy install on my Dodge Avenger, works perfectly. This product was my answer to making extra keys without paying $150 each. Instead, I paid $11 to have additional keys made with no programming required. Amazing so happy. It's one thing not to put the ring around the transponder antenna (rounded and plastic around the key switch) on the metal, but done perfectly.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Appearance

Doesn't work at all

Firstly the key doesn't fit in the box so it can't be closed at all. Even with the key inserted correctly, with a good 12V power supply, the bypass did not work at all. I checked the voltage on the bypass module and the correct orientation of the key in the module, but the car still wouldn't start. I'm not sure if I just got a bad one or something happened but it was a waste of money for me.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not the best

Less bypass, more transponder

I used this unit with Banvie's push to start module in my 2001 Ford Focus. Works as described. Allowed me to send information to the ECU and starter via the transponder key chip without using duct tape or tape in the steering column. YOU MUST HAVE A PROGRAMMED KEY FOR THIS DEVICE TO WORK PROPERLY. If you have programmed only one key, you can start the car with cut keys (without chip).

Great product and reliable

Great product and gets the job done Everything. Very simple and easy to install. If you want to be able to buy regular keys for your car without an expensive transponder, then this product is for you. If like me you have a starting system installed but don't want the ignition key to work then this is for you. But if you don't already have a transponder key, it won't do you any good.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Little repairability

Strong security

Easy to install and allows using a regular sized key instead of a HUGE key fob. Just put the key in the box, connect the red wire to DC +12V, black hidden momentary switch. then to the ground. Put the cut off key in the ignition, press the momentary button, start the car and drive off. Without knowledge of the hidden snap switch, the car will not start, frustrating a would-be thief. Yes, here are the keys. Good luck getting to safety.

  • Confident
