The first Maglite holder stretches due to its elasticity (different brand) and is prone to summer heat. This design features a hook and loop closure tongue, one-piece strap and neoprene sleeve. Fits good.

Works very well. I like that the case supports the entire body of the flashlight and is made of a material that won't stretch over time. My previous magnetic flashlight holder had a dual strap design and could slip with hard hits. The straps were long enough to attach to the padded upper roll bar, which is one of the thickest roll bars on a 2006 TJ-R.

Very nice flashlight holder, made in USA. Unfortunately, where I wanted to place it, the straps didn't hold the light and it banged against the Jeep as it slid over the crossbar. The handles of the JT are not padded. So if the straps could wrap themselves in something soft, they would hold. Velcro fasteners can also help. Overall it's nice but I had to send it back.
