Eliminates frustration when working with upholstered furniture

Works like a charm. This takes a little longer, but works much better and ends up saving time ripping seams and reworking because the fabric has shifted. Sew some top fabric (to make it heavier) with the strips and the strips should line up where the sides, top and bottom meet with the cord in between. The pillows were easy to put together. 3/8 will not interfere with a 1/2" suture needle.

Works well for French Seams

I used it for French Seams on a vinyl seat cover. It worked really well for holding the reinforcement tape and keeping some tricky stitching in place. I haven't had much of a problem with glue sticking to the needle, but I did have to wipe it off with alcohol a few times. The only complaint I have is that I taped everything but didn't sew it up right away. I went back the next day and everything was loose and needed re-gluing. Exactly as described.

This binding tape is ideal for complex sewing projects. I made a large pillowcase for the University of Washington pillowcase and this tape allowed me to sew without using all the pins in my arsenal! This cut my sewing time in half since I used very few pins and all the layers are glued together. From time to time I noticed some stickiness on the sewing machine needle so I used an alcohol gauze pad to remove it from the needle to make sewing easier.
