Cute, Strong and Durable

Battat make good, sturdy toys that put other brands to shame! My one and a half year old child likes this toy very much, he will sit and play with it for a very long time. It's too hard for the dog to jump out on his own, but I think it might be because he prefers to only use one finger on the "buttons". My kid loves testing out the sounds things make when they fall on different surfaces and this toy has survived many falls and falls, even a toy hammer!

Pros
  • Portable Toy: Grab the convenient handle; Ideal to take away. Take this pop-up game console with you!
Cons

Decent not so good for toddlers and toddler toys

Decent for the price. Maybe. Very easy. My 11 month old can only do 2 out of 4 buttons at the moment. Which is good, but I'm not sure it's interesting enough to keep her when she's older that she even cares about the other two buttons. Not sure what I was expecting, a low price often results in a cheap product, which it is (should be even closer to $7-8 to be honest). 3 stars for the cute animals and otherwise the price would only give 1 maybe 2.

Pros
  • Battat's Hinged Buddy Toy is an early learning toy. Recommended for children over 18 months.
Cons
  • Zero

Finger pinches, otherwise great.

I really wanted an old-fashioned toy. It meets these criteria. Nice and different options for my kid to focus on. However, she is 7 months old and the animals pinch their fingers. Not entirely sure if it's the toys, but it's worth mentioning. She can't control it entirely on her own yet, as she doesn't understand that button actions cause animals to appear. It is still interesting and colorful for them. Durable and easy to carry with handle.

Pros
  • Turquoise, Orange, Purple and Green Spin, Slide, Slide or Spin! Each key opens differently!
Cons
  • Only available in black.

Baby loves toys for early development and activity

My baby is now 8 months old and loves this toy. He likes to click and watch the animals appear. He also likes to close them. Many people say that this toy is not safe because the child's finger can be pinched. But I believe that you should constantly take care of your child, no matter what. The description also mentions the age and skills required for a child to play with this toy. In my opinion, this toy is safe, durable, fun, and most importantly, helps develop the child's brain and motor…

Pros
  • Safe and durable. All Battat toys meet or exceed the most stringent safety standards.
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Need Improvements - Toys for Toddlers and Toddlers

It's definitely durable! But pens get stuck, and even if they don't get stuck, they can be difficult to use. It's pretty durable too! And that's great, unless your kid is in the phase where they bring everything to you and shove it under your nose. Then it only hurts! It's not really the 'fault' of the product, but it might be good for parents to know, so I'm sharing it. This is a normal stage for children in this toy's age range, so Battat could benefit from taking this into account and making

Pros
  • Learn about concepts such as cause and effect; Improving hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Cons
  • Some bugs

Poorly thought out product

Although the plastic itself is very strong and heavy, and the figures are cute, I had some issues right out of the box. The stickers on the top are the biggest problem - they were already peeling off the edges before I even took them out of the box. In small children's hands they should be chewed up and peeled off in no time at all. Also, the green button you turn to make the lion float will stick. So if you rotate it, the lion won't come back when you press it, you have to rotate it several…

Pros
  • 4 retractable animals ready to jump out and play! Meet the friendly lion, elephant, Pippi bear and Dalmatian!
Cons
  • Not bad

Great price but buttons are hard for babies

I bought this for my son for Christmas. I was between this one and another in my 20's. The difference to the more expensive one is the color and one less animal. I figured since it wasn't his main gift I'll take this one and save myself $10-15 and I'm glad I did, my son loves it! He's still a baby so he hasn't quite figured it out yet, he knows how to close not open lol but he enjoys it and rocks it, he falls off the couch and no problem in for another 2 months 👌 Update: I also just want to…

Pros
  • Reliable: Battat, a family business founded in 1897.
