Nice looking but terrible game

The bus is well built but not fun to play with. The students don't stop. The side door keeps opening randomly and it's hard to get to the driver. And disturbing noises are too loud. I think the volume was turned down by someone who doesn't have kids because they would have just as much fun if it were quieter and the parents were less annoyed. And why is there a paw on the stop sign? All characters are human, not animals. A very strange choice for a toy that doesn't come cheap.

  • Age: school bus recommended for toddlers 18 months+
Cons
  • So-so

My grandson loves this toy

This toy is perfect for my 3 year old grandson. He loves to play with it and it's very durable. I like that all edges are rounded and the design is simple. When I looked at the reviews before buying, I noticed that people were dissatisfied, passengers didn't stay upright and kept falling down. I thought "think" but that was the first thing my grandson complained about so I gave the toy a 4 star rating, not a 5 star. However, the solution was pretty simple. I bought some round Velcro with an…

The 2 year old loves the toy. Two problems.

Our 2 year old grandson loves the bus. The first problem: 4 people riding in the back of the bus won't stay in their holes. The holes are not deep enough. After our grandson was very frustrated that they kept falling off we solved the problem with velcro - a small piece in each hole and a matching piece of velcro on the bottom of each of the 4 kids. Our grandson can now just put them on and they stay inside and he can easily undo the velcro to take them off at any time. The second problem is…

It's a school bus! in vehicles

This is completely incorrect. The picture shows a school bus, but the description describes a fire engine. I bought a school bus, I think it's too expensive. The seats are not designed to keep children in their seats, they bounce around on the bus. The only one who stays in place is the driver. The box says the song "Wheels on the Bus" is playing on the bus, but there's no music and no soft rubber wheels. The wheels are made of plastic. The headlights and position light come on and a sound is…

Get another brand

There are better buses. I bought this bus because it was a decent size and low price and you get what you pay for. The kids on the bus don't get up, there are small holes to stand in and their feet fit in the holes, but they turn around in a second when you move the bus because the holes are too big. Even I have a hard time getting her to stand up without falling so my 3 year old definitely can't. One of the boys has roller skates on his feet and can barely stand even on a flat surface. The…

Vehicle Offset Design

Like other reviewers, I am disappointed that only the driver remains seated. It's sometimes difficult for my child to get the door to stay closed, but I think they understand that now. My main complaint has more to do with the actual design of the kids and how they were packaged. The first thing that struck me right away was that the African American kids were sitting together (luckily in the front seat of the bus) and the white kids were sitting together. Subtle, unconscious and perhaps…
