The battery remains the same but now has a new larger connector which does not fit my Graco baby monitor (as advertised). I bought the exact same model and it worked. I had to use my old battery and cut the wires in the connector. I figured it would be easier than just sending it back (because I didn't realize it until I opened the package).

I almost went out and bought a new video monitor because I was fed up with the battery dying in our Graco monitor. Normally with these devices the battery dies after 2 years and I didn't know that we can buy a battery. I'm so glad my $4.50 got this far. It works great with our monitor and I'm glad I didn't spend $300 in my frustration. I like it!

The plug was the opposite. I had to bend the pins on my phone to insert the connector. But so far it's working fine. Make sure red goes to red and to the other colored wire. A wrong connection can heat the battery and possibly burn down your house. The manufacturer or installer must restrain their head. Make sure that the battery does not get hot. If it's slightly warm after 24 hours of charging, everything is fine.

I bought this in hopes it could replace the battery for my real Graco digital video monitor. Unfortunately it isn't. These are AAA batteries while the monitor is AA. It's really my fault and the price was pretty high so I'm not too upset that I didn't have $4. For those wanting to replace the parent unit battery for a genuine Graco digital monitor (2V01 VIB), they no longer make replacement batteries. I called Graco to order from them and they said they didn't have them. :(

. It seems a lot of people are frustrated that the connector head doesn't fit their monitor. I had the same problem maybe because my monitor is about 4 years old. It was relatively easy to remove the head from the old battery and put it on the new one. I used a small screwdriver (used for clocks) to pry open the plastic tabs holding each of the wires in place. Shilo would probably work too. If you're having trouble connecting your head to a new battery, you can probably connect the leads…

I've had a Graco monitor since 2007. Only lasted about 20 minutes. from the charger, so I wanted to replace the battery. I was originally going to replace the battery with a similar looking battery that I bought for my cordless phones, but found the connector pin wasn't the right one. After looking around a bit I found this. When received the battery said 800mAh and now the monitor has been running for over 2 hours (I don't know exactly how long as I haven't tested it - maybe it lasts 4 hours…

I bought this battery for $3.62 from EZFinddeals with free shipping and it didn't fit my phone.
