No big deal: candles with no flame

i like the design and that they are quite narrow for windowsills. The flames seem a bit glaring and rather artificial to me. One of these ripped when the box was opened, but it was serviceable. They seem very light and possibly cheap. They definitely look cheap to me. For this money I would have liked better quality. I'll probably keep them for myself, but not sure I'll buy them again.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • can i add something

Candles with timer function

Bought 8 of these before. Bought 4 more to add to my windows. Batteries last from December to now. Good size, love the timer feature. I find they are expensive and the whole piece of felt came off the bottom before I could even use the candles. I think 24.99 would be the best price. I've just bought more now because I was afraid they would run out and wanted them all to match.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

The quality doesn't match the price

These are repackaged dollar store candles in an ugly cheap plastic base. The retail photos definitely do a good job of hiding the seam lines and poor workmanship on these pieces. The plastic seams on the base are disgusting, but to make matters worse the plastic at the seams and around the base where the candle screws into the base is coming loose and quickly ruining the already unattractive looks of these candles.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Attention spark plug without wiring

3 out of 4 spark plugs are fine and working (the timer function has not been tested as I have not installed it yet, I only checked by installing batteries). A candle is just a plastic shell - no metal! No springs inside, no wiring at all. Bad quality control! The other 3 are good but that crap! I hate going through Redbox and sending everything back when only 1 out of 4 is affected. I hope for a reply from the seller. Of course not a good price for 3 working candles.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Absolutely wonderful. buy you!

These candles are wonderful. You are looking very beautiful. Like something from days gone by. And they are so easy to use. Simply insert two batteries, insert a bulb and twist until the light comes on. Also (if you want them to work nights), set them to around 4:30pm EST and they will work until 12:30am. In the winter months here in New England, it gets dark at 4:30 am, so I'll write that down. When it's getting dark in your part of the country or the world, it's time to start them.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Older model

Looks good but has minor flaws

I liked these but I think they are a bit expensive for the quality. The base is strong and beautiful. The candle part is very thin and cheap. I don't think they will last for years. Where you screw in the light is very dim. With new batteries they shone through our windows bright enough to be seen from the street. The timer worked fine but make sure you have everyone with you, put the batteries in first and then quickly unscrew all the caps so all the timers are as close together as possible. I

Love soft warm light

I have had a set of these battery operated candles from Plow and Hearth for a few years. I have them on my windows all winter. As soon as the lightbulb is rotated after putting the batteries in the timer, the timer starts, so I collect them all and do it at once. I change AA batteries about every 4-5 weeks. Be careful because the bulb that spins every time is worn out and you need to replace it due to a broken base. This is the downside I told you about. Replacement bulbs are available on their
