They're good from a distance, but the plastic candle isn't realistic enough to miss up close. Good for Windows, but probably not so good for a desktop display. Some melted wax effect on the sides and flicking the power button down would certainly help. Going one step further and figuring out how to place the sensor in the area of the flame-shaped bulb would make it even better.

They're cheap. Period. The first one came and worked for 10 seconds. The seller agreed to send me a new one without me having to send it, broken back (great of them).The second one came and did the same thing.I'm starting to wonder if I'm doing something wrong.I wouldn't recommend this item but the seller was great.I couldn't rate all the features because I've never done that went far.For 10 seconds when they worked the light shone bright enough.

I don't mean how to dig. I didn't expect to use them until December (and left them as window decorations until next December). So far I've only used them once, they worked all December thanks to the photocell. Fingers crossed they work just as well next December. I like the functionality of the photocells, so they turn off when it's light. Saving juice in batteries. They are plastic and look like this up close, and at night on the window it is a softly flickering candle.
