Based on our own experience, we found this product to be utterly hopeless. The electronics inside didn't seem to match the advertised specs, as output was very low and didn't last half an hour. There was no improvement over the original battery - it was a waste of money!

I got my camera from a friend and they had this adapter that allowed them to put 2 batteries in the camera instead of the standard battery. And they lost the door that covers the hole where the battery goes in. It was really difficult to find a replacement until this one came along and it literally fitted perfectly. So if for some reason you ever need it, this is a good option. I also have a Canon T3i camera. I don't know what other cameras will fit.

I have ordered 2 of this product as this is the first time I have had to replace my battery cover and I am pretty sure I will do it again must, it hasn't won for a number of years. I was looking for this replacement as the camera would not turn on. I learned that there is a sensor on the battery cover that allows you to turn on the camera when it's closed.
