Ordered six bulbs in May 2020. One broke out of the box. As of December 2020, three more were out of service.

YGBSM. 60% of these LED bulbs failed within the six months I installed to replace older and dimmer incandescent bulbs. One of the six lamps NEVER worked right out of the box. They were installed on the footpath and protected from the elements. Connection voltage confirmed (12.75 VAC). It's just foreign-made junk and I'm considering going back to lightbulbs.

Upgrade the whole motorhome - love the new headlights

Just put them in a 2010 model M21 caravan and you'll need about 20 of them. They are perfect in color, straight out of the box and really well made overall. In hot climates those old headlights heat the camper up 40 watts at a time so it can take 400 watts or more to burn out old lightbulbs, then the air conditioning has to work harder to get rid of the excess heat so you're doubly taxed! They only use a few watts each, and the RV cooling is better and I use a lot less electricity.

Inexpensive, just what I wanted

I bought a set of bayonet style LED bulbs for my RV from another seller and was not happy. I found these bulbs and bet on them because I could get twice as much (6 instead of 3) for 30% less than my other purchase. I am very happy with the bright light they give off as well as the warm tone of the light. I had a slight flicker but I was able to get rid of it by cleaning the contacts on the bulb and inside the jar with alcohol. Now no flicker and lots of bright, clean, eco-friendly light.

I bought this with some hesitation as there were no reviews yet. Also, based on reviews of similar products, I wasn't sure what might interest me. Similar products were damaged or worse got very hot during use which would not have been a good thing as I bought them to replace the regular bulbs in my RV. I don't want them to overheat and melt the lamp let alone possibly ignite it. I was also concerned that the LED replacement might emit too much light and cause glare at night. Although the…

Retrofitting LED bulbs is a brilliant idea

The evolution of LED bulb replacement is full of reports of premature failures. Technology advances as LED lighting becomes dominant in the mainstream.
