BBK 4009 - Chrome Finish Shorty Tuned Length Exhaust Headers for Dodge Ram Truck 5.7L Hemi: Boost Performance Review

I have a 2007 Ram 4x4 and this hat doesn't fit. There is no clearance from the header to the frame and top hanger. they are just too big

I was told they would work on my 2003 2500 4x4 with 5.7 Hemi, my driver's side engine mount got in the way but they let me get it with a full refund return, they were nice, just didn't fit in my truck, thanks guys for the quick response and great service, unfortunately they didn't work

The headers look absolutely fantastic. They have that iridescent heat treatment after installation. Not a huge difference in power gain or anything, but it made a nice sound and fixed my problem with the exhaust manifold's broken bolts and studs on my 5.7 Hemi. Fits 2007 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4 with no problem

The design made it almost impossible to tighten the 2 screws on either side. Also, the flange bolts are larger and not quite in the right place as they are far from the pipe, requiring modifications to the standard pipe flange. Chrome plating, if poor quality, then some sections of the pipes are not even chrome plated. It was over then, everything matched the heads, it was normal. Also, 1 tube on each side is twisted and gets very close to the heater hoses on the right and the evaporator lines…

The part fits but it is very tight, if you have big hands it will be very difficult to get to the bolt holes, to thread them in and when you tighten them, they are very, very difficult to tighten on the driver's side, and it's also very difficult to put the actual header on the passenger's side, unless you're running a Crain motor, which you should be do. I didn't know it was easier to take off the old ones than put them on, it took me 3 days, spent about 6 hours a day, it's doable, it's just…

I'm already feeling better. A bolt from the BBK kit did not tighten properly and had to be purchased from a working auto parts store. Otherwise the product works great. Fuel economy improves by about 1-2 mpg. I have a 2005 Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi 4wd. Revain said it wouldn't work for my 4WD but said it would if I select 2WD from the drop down menu. I called BBK in Texas. BBK said the HD version of my truck has a different mount that doesn't fit. Non-HD models will fit regardless of 2 or 4WD…

I have not installed any blocks pending a possible refund. Mine had apparently shipped earlier, with a torn box and smeared handprints on major components. I got my 300.00 ruler and there is clearly a problem with the flange hardfacing tool. Both flanges are almost lightly "spring loaded" with a low point at the two center primaries. A small gap would be acceptable, but we are considering a gap close to 0.050. There are also scratches on the chrome and this is also an uneven application. If…
