I love these towels. Beautiful, big and very greedy. There is a small note in the packaging letting us know that they will lose some in the first few washes and tumble dry. Yes they lost the first few washes and dryers but that doesn't take away from how good the towels are.

Honestly not worth the price at all. The towel below is a $6 towel I bought at the store. So I could get 4 of these for the price of 2. These towels are very thin and cheap looking. I can use them as baby towels as my son is small and it doesn't matter how thick his towels are. But I won't use it for myself. See photo for comparison.

I wanted spa quality towels and that's exactly what I got! They are thick and very well made. I couldn't be happier. July 16th: I had to go back and be a little more in awe of the quality of these towels. I've washed them several times and they tumble dry lint free, the color stays vibrant and they're just as soft as the towels I bought at Macy's for double the price. I highly recommend them :)

These are good standard size towels for the price - hence the 5 stars. I've washed them before - yes, lots of stuff in the lint filter - but I can't imagine that doesn't happen with new towels. They're still fluffy right now, but we'll see in a few months. So far I'm happy with them. Update 5/2017: It's been over a year and these towels still look great and have a bit of 'plush' about them. They are used regularly, it's so nice to see them work so well with constant use.

I bought red and green for our 1/2 bath for the holidays. (I'm tired of being the only one changing wet towels, so I installed baskets.) These fluffy towels do the job well. As the instructions say, wash separately first and they also run in cold water, I washed the red rag and it was pink. they have all been washed several times and have not lost color further. I did notice some threads developing but that's ok, I cut them off with scissors (without pulling) and it worked.

I bought chakir bath towels, hand towels and rags at the same time. I would rate Chakir towels 5 stars. As you can see from my drawing, my washcloths are not chakir washcloths. My washcloths came in a chakir plastic bag but they were made in Bangladesh not Turkey, they are super thin and the design and color of the washcloth is different from bath towels. I would give the washcloths a 0 rating. Jocelyn Taylor's comments in March 2016 indicate that this attempted rip-off from Chakir's suppliers…

I haven't tried it yet but I can't wait to wash and then use it! You have the perfect color! The ideal brightness of this shade cannot be found anywhere else! Trust me I've been looking! Haha They look and feel expensive but fun! And they feel soft. I'm glad to feel them on me after washing! Especially since several reviews said they get even softer after washing! These towels are very disappointing! When I opened the box I just had to look at them to make sure they weren't as advertised. They were very thin and looked like they could be bought at a discount store in a basement. They felt very hard and NOT AT ALL what the picture shows.
