Does the job in Thread & Floss

I used this thread to turn regular gloves into touch screen gloves. For me it was best to sew many loops until there was a 4-5mm "bulge" of thread on the finger or on the outside of the glove while spreading the thread slightly inside the glove for more having contact with the skin. This resulted in touchscreen gloves being much warmer and more accurate and comfortable to use than some dedicated gloves. It's a conductive fabric and even with heavy use I didn't get any scratches on the screen. I

Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

For thicker thread you need a darning needle with a very large eye

I used it for fluffy gloves. It didn't look pretty, but it works! I used 4 threads and just sewed back and forth. I tried to make a heart shape but the glove material was too high for that. Will try flat fleece gloves - should work better. You need a BIG eye needle. It doesn't seem very thick, but it doesn't even fit regular big eyed needles. It would be nice if they provided a needle for this! Now I can use my nice warm gloves and still use my phone functions.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Discontinued model

It works if you have enough in one place.

The thread works but not with a thread. I increased the screen sensitivity on my phone and it takes 4 to 8 threads to interact with the screen. The thread is very thin, so it's really not that difficult to put 3-4 threads on a medium sewing needle, so 6-8 threads for sewing into fingers. There is a much better conductive thread, I also bought a spool. conductive thread from PiHut, on the spool it is 2-3 times thicker and much darker, but 1 thread is enough to interact with the screen. Of course

Works great with cotton gloves

Must wear cotton gloves at night to groom hands but needs to use phone for soothing videos that put me to sleep. After learning about the outrageous prices for conductive thread in fabric stores ($6 for 10 yards? Really?), I got this. I was afraid it would be thick or spiky, but this is a thin soft thread that is very comfortable to use. I threaded the needle twice as long and quickly and casually sewed the entire underside of the tip of the glove's index finger. Works great, no problems with…

Pros
  • Thread and floss
Cons
  • Very expensive
