I should have done this sooner! The kit included all fasteners. I did not use the hoses that came with it. They made me tubes. I don't trust collars. My Alison transmission runs 15 degrees cooler with this additional cooler.

If you are having transmission overheating issues, this should solve the problem. The BD mounts and hardware put it in an advantageous position, I decided to replace the factory cooler (not recommended by BD) and it solved my problems in even the worst conditions.

Cooler - good design and build - 5 stars. The fan is cheap junk - 1 star (only because it hardly spins). Changed to a 10" Mishimoto Race Line fan. Now works as I expected. This unit is too expensive to have such a POS fan.

Very happy with this DS cooler. Bought this for my 03 lb7 Allison 1000 built transmission. Works amazing. The stock cooler temperature fluctuated between 185-200. BD Diesel DS cooler temperature was below 140. Very satisfied. Works perfectly with Allison 5/8 High Pressure Transmission Mounting Kits that are available without an adapter. Highly recommended for protecting your Allison investment.
