2005 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9L QCLBI, as product and packaging, fits perfectly and works very well. 🤙 BUT…. The BD bolt kit was a disaster, 10mm bolts with 9.5mm spacers hmmm 🤔 oooh, simple math tells me it doesn't fit 🤷‍♂️🤓🤣Quality control?

Lowered its exhaust when towing trailers. I also got a heavy duty gasket kit (1045986) which is half the price of the BD kit. They look exactly the same in the photos. I also got a set of Dorman bolts as you can't use a heat shield on a BD manifold.

Well after a few years of ownership I have to say this is a great choice for higher exhaust flow and ease of installation. The turbine spins faster and the exhaust temperature has dropped 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The only downside is that the molding had some positive qualities in the 2 ports. Filed them flat prior to installation.

I give this product a higher rating than it probably deserves simply because I love BD products. It was a tricky install as some of the mounting screw spacing was too tight. BD needs to provide enough clearance around the three complex studs and screws to allow the wrench to slide through the screw heads. However, once installed, it is a good block. Durable and well made.

good product. 2 flaws on the screws did not impress me. Firstly, when bolting onto the turbo where the right front bolt starts to touch the top (yes I screwed it all the way in and used the correct bolts in the 4 holes) the slot they machined (now it seems tight leaking with no, but I'm not sure). Another issue is the need to use a bottom bolt on cylinder 5 as it doesn't give enough access to get the right angle let alone the bushing on it.
