Great motorcycle helmet sound with one small complaint

I am an ADVenture rider in Alaska who loves music but dislikes conferences with other riders. I never talk on the phone while driving. Tried once; it broke my concentration. I rarely travel with others. I have had many audio systems installed on my bikes over the last 15 years. They were expensive, finicky, and I couldn't turn the volume up to a comfortable level on loud tracks. Meet Beheadwear Gen3. Pros: I installed it on my Scorpion T510 motorcycle helmet in less than 15 minutes. I am…

5 stars - so far

Received, charged and put in my ski helmet. The fit was perfect after a small adjustment to put it in the right place. I followed the advice of some other users in this review by sticking a small piece of hard eraser on the main button for easier access. Even without gloves, it was difficult to know which button was which, let alone how to press it hard enough to activate that button. By adding this little element to the main button, I could immediately tell where the button was. The sound is…

Great for snowboarding

Update: Decided to correct the rating and remove 2 stars for using these chips for a while. Unfortunately the audio cuts out every now and then and the bluetooth becomes less and less responsive when it comes to switching songs on my phone. I have to take out my phone and manually change the song before I can use the skip feature again. I don't have this problem with other Bluetooth devices, so I know it's not my phone. They're still fairly cheap compared to other chips I've seen, but now I'm…

I bought this headset to use with a motorcycle helmet. (FYI: I ride a 2018 Ninja 400 with a Shoei GT-Air helmet and always wear foam earplugs when riding.) I only took this headset off for a short ride, so this review may be a bit premature. . . . But for this trip, this headset worked great! At speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, music can be heard very clearly. At speeds over 60mph you can hear the music faintly, but that's the volume at which you can hear the rhythm and lyrics and still hear…

Great product Best in Headphones

This year I decided to replace the wired headset with my ski helmet. Trying to do something with the chords dangling all over the place was driving me nuts. Read the reviews which put me off the much more expensive Outdoor Tech brand. I'm so glad I chose her instead. Here's what I really like: 1. They're significantly cheaper.2. The range is amazing. I have great sound with my phone at 20ft. Crazy.3. Call clarity is great! The last caller remarked that he could hear me much better with the…

100% Commitment to Customer Service

I just bought these for my ski vacation in Vail. I researched a few here and the ones for $130 or so had this rating and they had 50. First of all I would like to say that I was very satisfied on the first and second day. The sound is good at high volume and they are behind the foam ear pads, I had to turn the phone down. Someone wrote about the inability to find the on/off buttons through the helmet. So I cut off a small piece of velcro about 1/4 thick. Arrow easily, on, off, pause and call…
