I love this chair. I can really push myself there. I also appreciate being able to sit with my legs up. However, you can use some sort of pocket on the side to store items. I highly recommend this chair.

I like the footrest but I feel the open and close buttons break very easily. I also haven't figured out how to lock the seat in the closed position. I fold it up and it's hard to carry and the strap is useless because the chair just opens back up.

footrest "buttons" won't press. It takes 2 hands and all the strength you have to open it. Not exactly what you want to fight on the beach. I spoke twice to the manufacturer who promised to send me new chairs but after 2 months still nothing.

Love this chair EXCEPT for the uncomfortable button on either side to extend the footrest. You need 3 hands. Little did I know when I bought this chair that it actually had a bottle opener on the side of the right armrest. It was a nice bonus. persistent? Light and overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

What didn't we understand about the word "lie flat"? This exceptionally high quality chair does everything we could have hoped for but doesn't lie on your stomach for sunbathing! Not even close to a man turning around and getting some sun on his back. Glad we only bought one chair. Everything else about this device is top notch.

This chair won't recline horizontally! The footrest is extremely difficult to use and the seatback buttons get stuck. The chair has a cumbersome construction, which makes it difficult to carry and will topple over in the slightest wind. I fought him on the beach most of the time. Invest in Tommy Bahama, a much better product.

I used to have Rio chairs that were very stable and lasted a long time. But it's not a chair! I bought it because it was too big and had a footrest. Well the footrest is so hard to get up and down that I can't even use it. And the fabric is torn from the chair on the back of the chair. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this particular product!

This beach chair doesn't sit back as it says. That's the whole reason I have this! I researched many sun loungers and settled on this one as I wanted one that I could lay face down on my stomach on. As mentioned, the footrest is extremely difficult to use and the chair back buttons get stuck. Very disappointed. :-(

What I love about this chair! - HIGHER THAN MOST CHAIRS: I have knee problems and can't get up from most sun loungers which are low to the floor. But this one is a few inches taller and I can get up and out pretty easily! (probably why there is room for a footrest there). - LETS FLY FULLY for face down/wrong side tanning. - FOOT STAND folds out (I'm about 270lbs so I find it a little flimsy.
