I re-strung my beautiful pearls that my husband bought me 20 years ago when we just got married, I tied a knot between each pearl. It was perfect. I read in some reviews that it broke before the job was done, but I didn't have that problem. I twisted it tightly around the needle so it was thin and didn't create too much tension as I pulled it through.

This is a fairly thin cord for the 0.6mm size. This means that when hand tying beads, the knots may be so small that a bead with a slightly larger drill hole may need a second slip knot to hold properly. I was able to find a 0.6mm cord at a local store that was a bit heavier and worked better, but if you are tying small or tiny graduated beads this cord will do.

I ordered this thread to thread a string of pearls that my fiancee's grandmother gave me. The included needle made threading very easy and the knots between each bead held up beautifully. It took me two packs of thread to finish the chain (the chain was long!) and they held up well. On our wedding day I will be wearing my new pearl necklace!
