A very handy tool! best in Tire & Wheel Tools

The chafer worked great on some really hard to break trailer tires. It takes a little practice to get it right, but it's really great work!

Pros
  • No assembly required, fits all sizes including heavy duty wheels.
Cons
  • Low repairability

$ well spent :) suitable for tire repair tools

Arrived today and ready to use. was able to break the bead and replace the TPMS sensor on my Pontiac Torrent 07. The first 2 attempts slipped but it was my fault. less than i thought. seems heavy. got pretty good tires cheap.

Pros
  • PROFESSIONAL GRADE, made entirely of hardened 4140 chromoly steel and grade 8 hardware
Cons
  • Unfashionable

A reliable tool essential when working on small wheels with old tires

I used this tool to remove very old, stuck 7 inch wheels from a small 4 wheel car. Read the instructions. You need to be careful how the tool attaches to the wheel to make sure you don't damage the wheel or the tool. This tool costs extra money compared to cheaper models.

Pros
  • Easy to use with basic hand tools, enough for 1 person.
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Don't worry about bead sticking anymore.

Like most reviewers I would like to see this tool much sooner. 15-20 years ago this would have saved a lot of time and hassle for a tool that could fit in the glove box. If you have scrap metal and a welding machine, you can make your own. It's just easier to buy and know it will work. 3 year tool guarantee. I also ordered the long arm and magnetic spacer separately to have the whole set. Use caution when using a power tool on the main lift pin. Yes, tightening the screw all the way can ruin…

Pros
  • No assembly required, fits all sizes including heavy duty rims.
Cons
  • I will add later

These are better than the yellow ones.

I bought 3 yellow ones at a lower price and broke all 3. The first worked great on about 14 tires. The second broke on the first try. A third removed the screw threads from the tool body around the number 3 tire and honestly I was furious! I calmed down and decided to try the Pro model because of the wider bill and Class 8 fittings! So far 8 tires are working great! But the clamp cover is starting to crack but I'm sure I can fix it. I'll edit this if there are any problems! Just a quick update,

Pros
  • Soft clip will not dent or scratch discs.
Cons
  • Doubtful
