I bought this set to give as a gift. When it arrived the back of the packaging stated that additional tools are needed to make the jewelry. As a result, I had to run to Michaels at the last minute for miniature needle nose pliers and wire cutters. I can't comment on the look of the finished pieces or how easy they are to put together - they could be awesome - but I'm a little annoyed that the description doesn't say additional tools are needed.

My eight year old granddaughter loved collecting these ornaments and giving them as small gifts. They are cute with a vintage look. We had to use super glue to attach them to the pipe cleaners. I am only giving them four stars because they are not as beautiful and durable compared to the crystal bead set (we made last year). I wish they came with a piece of metal with a loop for the center rather than a piping brush that you have to use to shape the hook.

These small and simple decorations are perfect for the kids' Christmas party I hosted this year. There were about 45 children under the age of 12. This worked well for most children, with the help of an adult supervising the activity, within the time constraints of the party and with limited resources. Very easy to prepare and assemble.
