I'm learning how to make memory wire jewelry and I definitely need stronger wire cutters than for heavier gauge wire.

Cutters will definitely cut memory wire (hardened steel) to the largest diameter (3mm I think). The only problem I have with them is that they tip to the opposite side. There has to be something to keep the grips from traveling a certain distance, IMO.

They cut memory wire like butter and are also great for cutting sterling silver and copper wire. With thicker gauges like 18 and 16, they have a cleaner cut than traditional jewelry pliers, which is good for larger diameter connecting rings. This means that flat ends require less filing.

Wow what a difference these little cutters make. Cuts first time, every time! Less tired hands, which is great. They are strong yet lightweight and easily fit in my beading tool bag. Would definitely buy this item again. Now I'm looking at other Beaditive products too!
