Irregularly made - Jewelery hammers

Received in 2 days but quality was poor. I had to process it to line it up and then add another radius to the end of the bullpen. I think you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No machine

Wood looks like it's going to break

Good for what I need for hand punching metal. My only concern is that the wood at the tip of the hammer (above the metal head) looks like it's splitting. hope it lasts

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I would not use stamps or dies for embossing.

I bought 6. Don't count on using these unless you have another hammer and punch to tighten the heads on the handle. The head is fine, not hardened, the handles may have knots and not completely fill the socket in the head. I bought these to modify heads for texture stamping. So for me cheap price and cheap construction was fine. If you want to die cut or stamp I would look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Guard

Vintage - poor quality - ball and pin are NOT what they should be.

This is a disappointment. The ball end of the hammer is NOT round. It appears to have been hand forged and is NOTHING close to what I expected from a ball head hammer. Even the end of the pen, which should be flat and round, is oval. That said, I can still use it to punch metal, which is what I bought it for. However, this is NOT quality and I will NOT be buying another hammer from this manufacturer.

Pros
  • Jewelry making tools and supplies
Cons
  • Damaged

Inexpensive jewelry ball hammer that's also cheap

Perhaps this is an example of you get what you pay for. It is advertised as a jeweler's hammer, but its surfaces are not properly polished and there is a small dent on the surface of the hammer on the side of the ball. The head is also slightly loose, easy to fix. Surfaces can also be repaired with enough grinding and polishing, but then I could spend twice as much and get a hammer that doesn't need repairing for less than my time to fix that hammer.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Not sure

- This hammer is - like sooo many people these days - badly made

- This hammer is - like sooo many people these days - badly made. The "ball" seems to be made out of modeling clay and then NOT finished. It's far from a ball, but I've spent a lot more money on ones that were just as poorly made. To be honest the very best ones I've gotten were super cheap at my local HF stores from China - BUT the only way to get one of the 8oz was to buy the whole set. I'm looking at a BEAM trim to make it usable. I'll keep looking for the one the manufacturers offer that is

Pros
  • Jewelery hammers
Cons
  • Long delivery time
