I bought these for a beading project. The needle held up for a bracelet project, but in the end, from rethreading the Fireline wire thread, the needle head was so bent that it was now almost unusable. Also, it was very difficult to start carving.

I have worked with beads for over thirty years and have used and broken more needles than the law allows. They are durable and wonderful, and blessedly color-coded! I am so happy with these needles. I assure you, if you do a lot of beading or embroidery, a good needle is worth it. I say go for it and get a great product like this.

These are good needles but they don't last long for me, but they do last longer than the finest beading needles I've tried. They are the right size for a variety of bead projects, have just the right sharpness and I love the color coding of the size. The problem is that all beading needles have to be very thin and long than sewing needles with very small eyelets to get through the beads, but they also have to be strong enough to work with and get through firewire and other very strong cord…
