I love this product. I've tried beeswax nozzles and they leave a wax on the stones that takes some effort to clean. This works really well, no wax marks are left behind and it's much easier to see where to place the stone with a small tip than with large wax tips! Perfection!

The small pad that comes with it doesn't seem to regain its stickiness very well. However, it works much better than trying to use my fingers. I can try other brands to see if something works better; I don't want to spend the time the glue is drying replacing the tape on the pillow.

I want to give this product 5 stars. The first one I ordered worked great for a few hours but then didn't pick up the gems. I noticed that the tip of the little sticky white stuff was gone at the end. I tried to peel off the remaining sticky white substance to cover the small metal tip that was now exposed but to no avail. I thought I pressed too hard and broke it, so I ordered another one.
