This works when you want to open the ring on the necklace to attach it to the clasp and then open it when you want to remove the necklace itself. Completely impractical.

I bought these to use on bracelets I want to make with a (mostly) endless loom. They are shiny silver and have a very strong magnet. All 20 opened and the magnets stayed in place. The fact that all the magnets stay in place and the strength of the magnet was a priority for me when using them in bracelets. I can't use anything with a weak fastener and risk the customer losing a piece. For the price, the looks, and the strength of the magnet, I keep them to myself.
