BEAMTECH 9007 LED Headlight Bulb, Fanless CSP Chips Conversion Kit - Pack of 2, All-in-One Light Replacement Review

Easy to install, work, they are nice and bright, I got them to replace the stock headlights when one failed, the Most of the issues I've read from other reviews are different types of bulbs, but the 9007 seems great so far. I haven't ridden them at night and will see if they hold up and update my review accordingly. However, in their current form, they work great.

I originally bought the 8000 lumen fanless version of this bulb but when I got it I found that due to the large heatsink there was no way to attach the rings that hold the Lightbulbs are attached to my headlights. I returned them and ordered this one as the fan/radiator was small enough to fit inside. However, they came with one of the set screws completely removed. The halogens in my wife's Pathfinder along with the cloudy lenses made it difficult to see at night. Beamtech's 9007 LED bulb fits OEM headlights without cutting off the OEM vehicle's retaining ring. I first bought another brand that didn't fit me and I had to return it. I have read many reviews of other 9007 LED bulbs mentioning problems with their installation. This fits without any problems, loosen the lamp holder with the supplied Allen key, insert the lamp into the headlight retaining ring, reinsert the lamp holder and lock it with the Allen key, then insert the holder into the headlight.

They are much brighter than standard halogen bulbs, have a slight bluish tint but otherwise they shed daylight through the darkness and far out onto the road. These LEDs were relatively easy to install on my 2001 Jetta TDI with no modifications. I rotated the LED on the driver's side by 180 degrees in its socket so that the "dark spot" of the low beam was centered on both sides. The high beam is not much brighter than the low beam; However, I find that the light output quality of LEDs, which compete with standard halogen bulbs, is sufficient to improve the low beam more than noticeably.
