I can't get rid of the stench even after washing my beard twice. I put it on as soon as I received it and was immediately surprised by the smell. Too "scented". I thought it might grow on me but after an hour I couldn't take it anymore. I've tried washing my beard twice and I still smell it. Doesn't smell like sandalwood at all. You know when you walk through the mall to avoid Bath and Body Works or Yankee Candle Co. because the smell is so overpowering? The same applies to this material. Pooh!

I have tried many brands of beard oil so far and to be honest. This brand feels and works the best. The only thing that bothers me is the smell. So far I've bought cedar and sandalwood and they just smell weird. Other than that all the ingredients are fantastic, it absorbs well into your skin and beard and my beard has never looked better. I give 5 stars for the quality profile of the ingredients, but the scent is a bit too musky for me personally. While not a high quality product, I prefer the Every Man Jack Sandalwood Beard Butter scent which I have used in the past. I did not return the item as I really like the company and their work.
