Bought this to use on my mustache as I was intrigued by the ingredient/scent description. Smells just like Opium Den Wax. Use wax if you have a mustache as it won't hold it in place but will give a great shine. I gave the rest to a bearded friend, he liked it. It's a balm, not a wax.

I heard good things about The Bearded Bastard balms and decided to give them a try. The aroma is incredible. almost like a latte and not too heavy on the mint. This balm has the firmer hold I was looking for (not as firm as wax) and makes my beard nice and soft with less flyaways. The walnut label is a nice touch too. I would happily buy this beard balm again.

He had a dry and unruly beard. After the first application I got immediate results. My beard looks better, feels better and now has a great scent that just fits.

Generally a good balm. It's good, but not great. I have a medium to large beard. This mainly helps control expansion, but isn't great for shaping. The scent is not like oil. close but not as good. Keep this in mind when attempting to pair the scent of a balm with an oil for consistent application.

Nothing that wasn't promised, just not the biggest fan of the scent. Nothing wrong with that, you might like it, a little minty for me.

I use a lot of beard balms and these types are the best. It's in my top 3 fragrances for her, right behind Opium Den and Early Riser.
