Top-notch Ball Joint

As a result of my tests, I determined that this ball joint is a top performer in terms of durability and strength. It's easy to install and transforms the handling of my vehicle in a noticeable way. The only con is that it's a bit pricier than some other options on the market.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Slightly more expensive compared to other ball joints on the market

Doesn't work in ball joints

I bought these to fit my 90's Mazda Miata. Upon opening these ball joints, I found that the OEM mounting screw inserted vertically does not thread into these ball joints. I returned them and went with OEM Mazda units (which for some reason don't come with a castle nut or cotter pin, so a trip to the hardware store would be in order).

Pros
  • Ball joints
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

I bought two of these for the front of my Miata 96 because they are a lot cheaper than the originals. The screw holes on these parts do not line up with the holes in the wishbone. (they're offset about 1/16th), but you can snap them into place. The shoe broke on one side within a month so I replaced it with the original. Needless to say, the original part snapped straight into place. A year later (only 13 months) my steering wheel started acting strangely and eventually wouldn't return to…

Pros
  • Shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • Negative impression
