Excellent Thermostat for My Car

This thermostat is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast who values quality and durability. After putting it to the test, I was impressed with its ability to regulate engine temperature efficiently. It fits perfectly and is easy to install. The only downside is that it is slightly more expensive than other options in the market, but it is well worth the investment. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable replacement thermostat.

Pros
  • Reliable and durable, designed to ensure efficient engine cooling.
Cons
  • Not suited for vehicles with unique cooling systems that require specialized thermostats.

Does not fit best Part

Does not fit '98 Jaguar XK8 despite stated to fit. waste of time and money. I had to go to a local store and buy a suitable thermostat.

Fits and works great in my 1998 VDP/XJ8

This thermostat is a cheaper OEM option. It also works at 10 degrees. F is cooler than OEM. My 1998 Jaguar had many problems with the cooling system (loose hoses, leaking hoses, cracked plastic housing and leaking heater valve). So I bought this valve along with all the hoses, manifolds, fittings etc to replace all the parts once and for all. My idea was that the lower operating temperature would help reduce the stress on this Cats cooling system. So far so good, the car runs noticeably cooler…
