When the lamp arrived the box was slightly damaged and the metal rim of the lampshade was bent, nothing that could be fixed with pliers. Very easy to assemble. Installation requires scanning a QR code and downloading an app to control the RGB light bulb inside. The brightness of the white light is very good, but the brightness of the colors is not very good. A little ambient light is enough. Any lightbulb should work if you want to use a Wi-Fi lightbulb instead of Bluetooth to connect to Alexa.

Looks good but the bulb control app is rubbish. Bluetooth doesn't stay in contact with the flashlight at all and when you try to reconnect it fails. A reset is required, which is a lengthy process of turning the lamp on and off in various patterns. I would not recommend it to a friend or anyone else. If you don't download the app, the lights will flash different colors. So if you're looking for a lamp that you have to take care of every time you use it, get this one.

I originally ordered this lamp but had some issues with my packaging so I decided to buy it elsewhere. I see a lot of negative comments when I look at the reviews. The negative comments seem to come from people who don't know how to work with the app or the lamp itself and just don't understand the technology, don't want to criticize it. It's a pretty basic lamp and it works pretty well, and the app is pretty easy to navigate and use. Not to mention that it has two power outlets and 3 USB ports

I was delighted to order this on Prime Day and couldn't wait to get it! I received it today and when I went to unpack it there were pieces of black plastic everywhere and the lampshade itself was dirty. It seems that what was supposed to be holding the shade broke because it's loose and wobbly. Although everything else works. Just disappointed that it was broken and dirty. I will not be returning it as I need it now. Lesson learned, I don't think you should order these things from Revain...
