I am severely allergic to chemical odours, gases or perfumes and this material does not smell at all. Surprisingly, it took several years before a safe, allergen-free product was finally found.

I have used this on leather shoes. Now they repel water well. I've walked in snow and rain, but not in puddles. After I finished my shoes I gave the bottle to a friend who is also happy with the product.

My leather shoes are turning dark like the tag says. I personally find it gives them a luxurious shine and I love it. It also makes it easy to see which areas need more coverage as after drying for 1-2 days you may see some lighter areas that need touching up. The oil was very easy to apply, odorless and kept my feet from getting wet during multiple storms.

I am very impressed with this more natural way of waterproofing than using silicone. The beeswax and oil cream are easy to apply and polish to a beautiful shine. Yes, it darkens the skin a bit, but it can make it look even fuller. Here is a picture of two identical pairs of brand new shoes, the one on the right using this waterproofing agent. Two shots were taken in bright sunlight and in the shade.

This product has a more runny consistency than some wax products, but it is very easy to apply, does not smell AT ALL and really works. I've used it on all my leather boots and it darkens the light ones. I was worried about a pair of navy blue shoes but they fit perfectly and left a nice shine. I apply it with my hands as it's non-toxic, let it sit for a few minutes and then buff off the excess. Perfect.
