This one broke after just one cartridge. The CO2 bottle leaks a lot when screwed in and to stop this, it has to be screwed in very tightly. Unfortunately, it is so dense that after the cartridge was used up (I'm sure it almost 100% leaked because I didn't even pour a glass) the Co2 bottle got stuck. Even with the help of wrenches and other tools, I was unable to unscrew the empty cylinder.

Well made product from a great seller. I recommend lubricating the threads of the first CO2 cartridge with a small amount of silicone grease to reduce sticking when screwing it in. The cartridge needs to be very tight to seal well, so work fast when installing. There are 2 ports on the case to check for leaks and I recommend checking those ports. Please note that you should never use this or similar devices on a closed container without a safety valve.

Although this product worked amazing the first 2 times I used it, the third time I used it it started to leak through the safety valve in the housing. When I insert a cartridge, it constantly leaks out of the purge valve for 5 minutes. Although it charges a keg, I would disagree with using 10 cartridges to dispense a 5 gallon keg. I took a chance as the price was so low, but it was definitely too good to be true and it's understandable that similar controllers cost three times as much.

This is a really useful gadget. I used it to pour homemade beer at a company party. What I couldn't figure out was why CO2 cartridges were being used up so quickly. I found that if someone accidentally bumped into it, it would leak like crazy even though the cartridge was installed correctly. After "Do not touch!" mark on it, the next cartridge lasted the rest of the night, and there was still enough left. So do I recommend it? Yes. Just be careful not to touch it once it's set up.

Update. Limited lifetime. I think there is a pressure relief valve in there or something that will render it useless if it fails. Not that I ever push too hard (I aim for 10-15psi), but after about 2-3 kegs the regulator will fail and the CO2 will just escape through one of the small holes. Not only do you bleed the entire cartridge overnight, you bleed the pressure in the keg, leaving the keg empty.--------------------- --- --- - ------------------Sometimes CO2 cartridges don't fit perfectly…
