This worked great in my 2001 VW Beetle. The best thing was the price. It was a lot cheaper at Revain than elsewhere I've looked online. worth your money.

The first one I ordered had a tear. Sent it back, got this one and it's torn in a couple of places. I do not recommend this product. Made in China

Just got this item in the mail, it took some time in the mail, VW- Parts department don't sell this item, they sell the whole shifter assembly for over $600 to get this cover, very weird VW thinking, I haven't installed it yet or tried to do it myself, there's a video on You Tube that shows how to do it Do it ! I'm glad this company makes this cover and not VW.

Product comes wrapped tightly around a 3/4" to 1" round piece of Styrofoam. After unwinding the product, two tears appeared on the end center of the roll on the last 1/2 inch of the plastic strip. There was also another crack near the switch hole. The plastic is too brittle and should not have been rolled so tightly upon delivery. I would have given one star, but the product was exactly the same as the original part from my MK4 Jetta. If it weren't damaged, I would have installed it.
