Not for 2002 Silverado 5.3L

I am sure this is a quality product. However, it will NOT fit the 2002 5.3L Silverado as written. That's a whole different part.

Poor description in Sensors

The item description said it would fit my truck and engine model but that wasn't true, it's totally different from the factory model. The item description said it would fit my truck and engine model but it doesn't, it's completely different than the factory sensor

Worked well for a week.

I bought this crankshaft sensor, it arrived on time, fixed my 03 s10 for about a week and left me on the freeway on my way to work this morning. I threw away the crankshaft sensor code, pocketed my old one and it immediately caught fire. The old one ran it but on the gauge it went from 3000rpm to 6000rpm but the engine only stayed at 3000rpm and wouldn't shift.
