Not quite universal

Even though it has multiple adapters, it still doesn't fit close to my Jeep antenna jack. I think it's a quality product but not entirely universal.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Something else

Great sign! great antenna!

Don't believe what people say, the signal depends on the area you live in, not the size of your antenna. I stuck a shorty in and the signal is exactly the same as the 27" factory antenna. Great product and great price

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Ratio set

Crap! in Automotive Electronics Accessories

Brass center screw too short to mount this unit or fiberglass tubing too long Cannot connect base to cover! obviously a longer screw or a shorter fiberglass tube must be used. What you thought was so easy turned out to be a pain in the ass!

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • No style

WORKS FOR ME BUT BE CAREFUL.

I AM LUCKY WITH THE ANTENNA! I READ THE REVIEWS FIRST AND SOME REVIEWERS ARE RIGHT. THREAD ON ALL PLUG METRIC! HOWEVER, I FOUND ONE THAT WORKS IN MY SITUATION. THIS IS A COMPILATION GUYS! ALSO ALL MY LOCAL (40 MILES) RADIOS COME VERY GOOD!

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Neutral

Size matters! on Antennas

The size speaks for itself. When I had my old antenna on my '07 Grand Cherokee it pulled well for a great radio. When I thought it would be cool to get a shorter antenna, it barely picked up radio stations. See it has to be as high as possible to work well. I checked it out and ordered my 36" back.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No form required

Adapters solve EVERYTHING!

only got this for the various adapters that came with it, but my husband liked it so much he replaced his rod antenna with this, luckily one of the other adapters in the pack worked for its trucks and the smaller one worked for the antenna which i received with no adapter! VICTORY VICTORY!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure if

Terrible range antenna. Cannot compete with original antennas.

The antenna was easy to install like any other antenna but the quality was terrible. I've had it for a week now and with the old stick antenna that came with my 2005 Ford Explorer the range is better. If I could rate it a 0 I would. I only bought this antenna because I don't need the old long antenna, but I regret buying this product. Stay away if you can help.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

ideal for low garage parking

I work in an office building with underground parking. My Explorer's antenna kept banging on the sprinkler pipes until it finally broke. I decided to try this short antenna. That works great. Some radios are further blurry, but there's plenty to choose from, so that's not a problem. It came with several different "adapters" for installation so installation was easy.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • only available in black

To this day, Revain still claims this antenna will fit my 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. It is not. The threads on my original antenna are SAE and the threads on all adapters intended for this antenna are metric. If your antenna thread meets the SAE standard, this antenna will not work. The quality of the antenna seems to be good. I can't comment on how good the reception was as I couldn't install it on my computer. If you could mount this antenna on your car I would think it would look nice.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Some difficulties
