Disappointed - Returned

Extremely disappointed when I opened the box and found that it wasn't white but was almond/cream/beige, not what the pictures show . It looks very cheap, I will not use it, I will return it. Image provided - it is correct.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Legacy model

The cable is long and the strap itself is quite smooth

There's nothing wrong with this product. The cord is long and the strip itself is pretty slick, but the cord was wrapped so tightly in the wrap that it's now so bent/wavy that it doesn't stay flush with the wall (and I like to try to hide/ to mask the cables if possible). Also, the sockets appear to be slightly offset. It's a real struggle to get every plugin.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Only available in black

Sockets too close together.

We chose this extender because we have 6 sockets but after plugging in 2 chargers for phone, bedside lamp and computer we couldn't find space to plug anything else. The sockets are so close together that we couldn't use the remaining 2. Check the size of your plugs before purchasing this extension cord, anything the size of a phone charger cannot be plugged in side by side.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

We never travel without it

Bought for a cruise. DH uses CPAP. On most cruise ships you will need a long extension cord and the cords may not have built-in surge protection. This cable is fairly light and easy to pack. Not too hard. Additional outlets allow you to charge phones and tablets by the bed. A must for cruisers who require a power cord. This little gem has no surge protection and therefore meets the requirements of the two lines we use on cruises.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Know the size of the plug

Works as it should and matches the price. However, the distance between each socket is much smaller than I expected. Unless the connector is very small, I can't plug anything close to the Nintendo Switch power adapter or Echo Dot connector. So if you need to connect a lot of chargers, you may need a larger band. Also, the on/off switch can be easily turned off, so if you have pets it might encounter, it can be turned off without much trouble. Not bad at all for the price.

Pros
  • power filter
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Build quality is terrible

I bought this after reading it had 14 gauge cord. Unfortunately, the build quality stops there. On the outside of a very poor quality injection molded lid I cracked it open to see what quality I could get on the inside (which wasn't easy because of the security screws. What are they hiding?). I found the following: 1. Extremely thin brass connecting strips2. Poor copper connection with brass connection I ended up with the $5 more expensive BE106000 as the build quality was much better.

Pros
  • Accessories and supplies
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
