I really wanted to like this product, but in the end it's easier to plug everything directly into the laptop. We tried it with three separate laptops. The convenience of just plugging in a wire or two is very attractive. Performance was poor on all three laptops. I can't say it's the dock, it can be a problem with any laptop. In each case, the functionality was poor and caused a bigger problem than what it was bought to solve.

I liked Belkin's Thunderbolt 2 Dock a few years ago, it had everything I needed. This new Thunderbolt 3 Dock is a little behind the curve. There is no 3.5mm jack on the back, only one on the front. You have to route the audio cable to the front of the dock, which is ugly. And I liked having an extra jack on the front if I needed to plug in headphones or a headset.

I use a Logitech mouse and a Corsair wireless headset. Both devices use USB receivers. Randomly the docking station crashes causing me to lose connection to my USB devices. The "help" for the solution is to either restart my Mac or unplug/plug power to the dock. I can't keep doing this.

I really like the performance of this device, it charges my MacBook Pro 2019 well and drives my Samsung 4K monitor. I'm not sure if it's a monitor or a docking station, but when waking from sleep the monitor sometimes loses sync after a few seconds. I have to disconnect and reconnect the dock to get it back. Otherwise very happy with it.

I have two Acer XZ342CK monitors. I have a Belkin Thunderbolt Three Dock. As you can read, it supports dual monitors. I'm using a new Belkin custom DisplayPort to Thunderbolt cable with a Belkin docking station that allows two dual monitors to work with a MacBook Pro. For the second connection, I used a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. Only one monitor with a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable worked. When the M1 MacBook Pro goes to sleep, any USB or SD device plugged into the docking station "ejects correctly". The only ways I've found to get them reconnected are to restart the MacBook or to unplug and replace the device. Belkin Support has confirmed this to be a known issue. They also stated that they have no idea when they will have a fix or if a dock replacement is needed.
