Exactly what the doctor ordered! (WRONG!)

Delete my original review: What all the other reviewers say is true. Terrible connection, constant disconnects. It sucks. I go to one of the big stores to buy D-Link (which I've never had a problem with). Thanks Belkin for spouting nonsense! In fact, I originally ordered a Belkin Wireless Play Router (F7D4302). After re-reading the differences, I realized I could live without unnecessary "apps" and a USB port. I'm sure I made the right choice! Firstly, on the physical aspects of the router…

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Something is wrong

No WIFI outages for networking products

We had 4 or 5 different routers that seemed to be losing the WIFI signal from our upstairs office and we had to reboot many times. Since installing this router, no matter where we are, downstairs in the house, this router has never fallen.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Not as expected, best networking products

Unfortunately this router is nowhere near expired. After less than a year of use, one day it stopped working. Coverage was also an issue as there were parts indoors and the signal was very poor. I tried changing the save location but it didn't work either. This is a normal product

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Socket required

Limited range of routers

It's nicely packaged, very easy to install and very small. I got this because it's not a "draft" from N, it's supposed to conform to the final IEEE spec. I have a large house and found the range is not as good as I need it to be. I went with the more expensive Project N Netgear router because there are always compromises.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine
