Disappointed as I used to have one that lasted a good 5 years. After the defect ordered a new one and a week later the new one was defective.

This is a great solution for holding the phone without suction. There are two small clips that attach directly to the vent. The phone is held by two "hands" that gently hold it in place. I think someone should make this standard for all cars!

This is the best mount I have ever had. It works great in my mini if you stick it to the big odometer. Highly recommended. People always ask me where I get this mount from when they look in my car. It is also suitable for very large phones. I was able to put an iPhone 6+ on it with no problems.

I ordered 3 of these, one arrived yesterday, one is being shipped and one is in reserve which I was able to just cancel. The idea is wonderful, but unfortunately the suction cup doesn't hold onto a clean glass table. The mount fell off the table 3 times with my phone on the floor but luckily didn't break my phone. Now I tried using the decal base that came with the mount to see if that would help but then I just got stuck in one spot to use the mount. I'll report back if it doesn't work. Also…
