Works ends at

I haven't really thought about it - it's a bit short and requires me to lean the entire time I use it and after about 10 minutes of use my back hurts too much to ride a bike. It works as advertised and ends up inflating your tires - with lots of little compressions. If you are over 5ft look for a larger version from this brand as it works well but requires more effort.

User-friendly: bike pumps

It's good to have a regular pump for bikes and balls because you don't have to look for a power outlet. This pump is easy to use and has room for your supplies. It doesn't have a pressure gauge so you'll have to buy one or just feel it. I think you don't have to be very precise for the things you pump with it. I liked the grip because it was comfortable. Good to have at home. This review focuses on the high-volume Bell Windstorm 400 floor pump.

Easy to use, suitable for many different uses

I think this is a great simple air pump. I've used it to inflate yoga balance balls, kids' bike tires, and almost every one of the three tires on my jogging stroller. I feel like if the main port was a little smaller it would work with almost anything. I could use it for my stroller's big tires, but the front wheel has a patterned rim that doesn't allow the plug to fit well. I appreciate the investment and slim profile. See photo for verification.

Maybe mine is broken or something

Ugh I should have paid more attention to the specs on this one I have a foot pump that has seen better days. So I decided to try this one because I thought it would be better. To be honest, it really isn't that much better. In fact, it doesn't seem to hold a tight seal. Not sure why this is high volume as it takes forever to inflate a bike tire. Almost acts like it's leaking or stuck or something, I just don't know what's going on, why it's taking so long to pump. Keep using my other one or…

Works well, better than foot pedals if you have storage space

I have another floor pump and it works just as well as the one I already have. I didn't notice any difference - both tires are easy to inflate. If you're choosing between a floor pump and a foot pump, I'm obsessed with these floor pumps. Our foot pump ended up being warped, so the metal was bent sideways and difficult to pump with your foot, which is important in a way. Yes, a foot pump takes up less space than a floor pump, but in my opinion, a floor pump is stronger and easier to use. I would

Not very good

This pump doesn't compare well to my Crankbrothers pump. This Bell pump has a very stiff action and appears to have some sort of obstruction blocking some of the airflow. I wouldn't be sure I could land a tubeless tire with this pump while I've landed all my tires with a Crankbrother pump. The fact that it doesn't have a barometric pressure sensor is fine, which doesn't really bother me as they are notoriously inaccurate. In any case, you should use a portable pressure gauge to measure your…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Our regular bike pumps are small pumps that attach to a bike frame for some reason. I used one to fill a soccer ball and then a wheel on a kayak cart and decided it was time to grow up and get an adult pump. I have this one from Bell and it's almost grown. The legs are very small and the handle is so low that I (5ft 7in) have to bend down to use it. Those flaws aside, the pump is very easy to use, comes with almost everything you need, and works great. It's a good pump and I'd happily recommend
