Ultimate Protection for Your Little Adventurer: Bell Toddler Zoomer Bike Helmet Review

Wanted to love this helmet. It seems light, durable and cute. I love that it's made in the USA. However, it doesn't fit my son's head. Its head, measured at its widest point, is smaller than the maximum size indicated on the packaging. If your child's head size reaches or exceeds 50cm, don't worry about your baby's height and choose a larger size.

The description on Amazon says the size is 48-52 cm, that seems correct to me from my tests be. I tried it on our youngest son who is about 48cm head size and my middle son who is about 51cm head size and they fit perfectly on both heads. Then I tried it on our eldest son's head who is about 54cm tall and it couldn't fit on his head. The helmet itself looks like a regular kids bike helmet - comparable to other helmets I've bought at Walmart and Target.

I really liked the colors, nice strap design. The only thing I don't like is that when removing the child's head, the hair is pulled out due to a kind of stickiness of the glue to which the inner pillow was attached. Happens every time, have been using it for over a month now. It doesn't bother him, but he winces a little when we take off the helmet. 🙃

This helmet fits my 20 month old son well! He likes it! I didn't research well enough and didn't understand that it can't be adjusted at all, so it will grow out quicker than other helmets that can be tightened/loosened, but for now it will work fine. That's the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five, so maybe it's not fair that I didn't know what I was getting. Overall this is a good, sturdy helmet. Nice design.

We got one of these for our twins to carry on and had to buy another because the twins were *obsessed* with the tiger helmet. They are worn everywhere. It's embarrassing but a pretty good endorsement that these are comfortable helmets. I'd rather fight to get them out of them than in them 🤷🏻‍♀️I like that the clasp is protected so the skin on the neck doesn't pinch. It was one of the worst parts of childhood! Good for whoever remembered that bunch of shit and decided to better themselves!

This Dino Racers helmet is sooo cute. I was surprised when it didn't fit the head of my 3 year old son who is 51cm tall (maximum 52cm if I'm a bit wrong on the measurements). I haven't seen many other comments on this complaint but this helmet was impossible to put on my head. Self-adjustment was a piece of elastic at the back.
