This tape is thin and flexible. It stretches a little which makes it more comfortable for me. I have it on a Vaer C-5 40mm. It's not a heavy watch and is thin enough to work well with this strap. It also works well with my 40mm MWC GTLS Titan and should work well with the Khaki Hamilton mechanics as well. This is incredible value at around $10. My watch only has shoulderless 20mm spring bars and accompanying 20mm through straps (usually nylon, this time silicone). I use and abuse my dive watch every day in the water (actual diving) and I have high hopes for all my gear, even watch straps. I'm in the army. I've been wearing this strap on my Orient Ray 2 every day for over a year now, even during very long and intensive training phases. My wrist is 7.5 inches. I wear the strap on the 4th hole for work and the 5th hole for sleep. I can rotate the bezel without stressing the band or spring bars when it's on the 4th hole. i have a pair of nato some nylon leather and rubber it's not real nato if one of the spring bars comes loose your watch might not hold up anymore. I'm also concerned about how thin the strap is, if it breaks the watch will fall off your wrist. But the very fact that it's the thinnest makes it so comfortable, and its stretchability also makes it comfortable in a snug fit. Thin and cheap strap. It's slick, so if you try to attach the extra strap through the buckle, it slips back out almost immediately. Eventually I walk outside with the extra strap and I don't look good. If you wear NATO belts, you know what I'm talking about. Now it just sits in a drawer, I'll probably just throw it away.

Nice strap but not NATO style. This is Zulu style strap and has no extra strap that comes with NATO strap. My biggest concern is that I want to use this strap on my more active days. Without a seat belt, I'm not sure how long this will last.

1) This is the thinnest and cheapest bracelet ever made. This is not "overengineering". I bought this belt for my bad stage - the one that came with it was too big and thick. This one is much thinner and was easy to trim so I didn't have as many protrusions. I have very small wrists and this one fits me perfectly. I wish they would make a version with gold or rose gold links and clasp but this one is in very good condition. I wear it every day for several months. Great buy for the price!
