Ideal for two monitors - 144hz compatible

I use two of these monitors with my 144hz aoc 27 curve displays and they haven't lost a beat. These are excellent quality wires that feel strong yet flexible. They're not overly stiff, which is good as they don't protrude or add stress to the ports. Plug them into my RTX 2070 laptop and I've had no issues. Highly recommended

Works perfectly. 4K from MBP to LG UHD monitor

Build quality seems solid. I've been using it for a month or more, no problems. Works on MacBook Pro 2015 with new LG 4K monitor. I get 4K at 60Hz. I believe that (or maybe 72Hz) is the best you can do on your MacBook Pro. The cable works perfectly and is worth the money. Based on my experience, I later bought another monitor adapter that also works well.

Great price and great work!

Purchased to connect my 2015 MBP to a new LG 27" 4K display. I think my monitor came with one, but it wasn't 4K at 60 and I really wanted that, so I decided to buy a separate one. Either that or I don't need the 30 you get when connected via HDMI. It works great, seems good quality and thick; I've been using it for 9 months now with no problems. Highly recommended. You don't have to go for anything more expensive than this.

Apple Thunderbolt Display connection to Windows PC not working

I received this cable hoping that I could use it to connect an Apple Thunderbolt Display to my Windows PC (Geforce 2070 RTX). Unfortunately it isn't. Maybe it only works the other way around (for connecting a MacBook to a DisplayPort display), but that's not what I need. Anyway, it looks like a quality cable and comes in nice packaging, so I won't rate it badly just because my one use case doesn't work with it.

Great Mini Display Port for Dell Monitor

Great product! I'm using a Surface Pro 4 i7 2.2GHz 16GB RAM 256 SSD and it was just what I needed. Dell monitor from 2013, it's a 27 inch LCD and I've tried other cables which didn't work! It mirrors the screen with absolutely no lag or issues. Everything works great. I would highly recommend this cable as I have bought other display cables for the same price that are color distorted or have horrible lag. The perfect cord. Was actually quite surprised that it worked!

DP cable works well with MBP

If you can't get 4k video from a Macbook, it's probably because HDMI doesn't carry 4k from Apple laptops. I bought this cable to connect to Thunderbolt2 ports from a 15" MBP and it works great. The same laptop does NOT output 4k through the built in HDMI port for some reason. Apple support can't explain why either. Tested on the new LG 27"4k (not the best device) and HP 27"4k and both only display 1080p no matter what. Note: The USB port of the new MBP 16 inch also needs a direct USB connection

Works as advertised on all resolutions.

Works as advertised. Full resolution can be reached in different monitor configurations and tested on different machines (MacBook, Asus ROG laptops with Mini DP output). Runs 4K at 60Hz. (Tested on a Samsung 4K TV) Ultrawide 1440p (3440 x 1440) @ 60Hz works. (LG Ultrawide monitor) 1080p @ 144Hz works. (Samsung 144Hz monitor) Note that they are all chroma subsampled in 4:4:4 There is no image corruption or degradation. Recommended if you are looking for a DP to Mini DP cable. However, if you can

Misleading: Seller says 4K. You will most likely need an active Mini DisplayPort to 4K adapter.

First, 4K in cables is irrelevant. All can handle 4K but won't give you 4K. It depends on the source. You will most likely need an active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to get 4K from your Mini DisplayPort. And here this cable does not help. Worse still, there are versions of DisplayPort 1.1 and 1.2. If your graphics card is 1.1 DP, make sure the adapter you get is not just 1.2. Obviously there are graphics cards that contain active processing. Thunderbolt and possibly cards includingโ€ฆ

It can work, it can't.

I ordered this to use with my Cintiq. For some reason, Wacom went with the mini-DP. I needed an adapter to work with my favorite PC. I also wanted to be able to work in 4K@60Hz, so I went for that option. Once I connected everything everything seemed to work. but that didn't last long. About 15 minutes after I plugged everything in, my Cintiq started flickering and intermittently rebooting. At first I thought it was something to do with my Cintiq or maybe a problem with my DP. I even triedโ€ฆ
